Chapter 5 - The Queen of the Estate (The End)

Six months later.
The summer sun shone brilliantly over the lush green rolling hills of the Moretti estate, casting a golden light across the sparkling fountains and blooming white rose gardens.
The grand dining room—the very room where Meline had once been shoved onto her knees in a puddle of soup—was decorated with thousands of white silk flowers, glowing crystal chandeliers, and long tables covered in fine lace tablecloths.
Over two hundred high-society guests, international business leaders, and honorable community figures had gathered for the event of the year.
Standing at the head of the grand mahogany table, wearing an immaculate black tuxedo, stood Alessandro Moretti. Beside him stood his father, Giovanni, dressed in a sharp charcoal suit, looking healthy, proud, and radiant, his walking stick capped with polished silver.
The heavy double doors opened, and soft violin music filled the air.
A collective gasp swept through the crowd.
Meline walked into the room, wearing a breathtaking, custom-tailored white lace bridal gown that accentuated her lush, gorgeous curves with absolute elegance and royal dignity. Her dark hair was styled in soft, cascading waves, her skin glowing with radiant health and happiness.
She held a bouquet of fresh white peonies, walking down the aisle with her head held high, surrounded by a staff that now adored her, protected her, and respected her as their Queen.
Alessandro watched her walk toward him, tears of pure, overwhelming devotion brimming in his dark eyes.
When she reached his side, Alessandro took her soft hand in his firm, warm grip, leaning down to whisper softly into her ear, “You are the most breathtaking sight in the world, my love.”
“I love you, Alessandro,” Meline smiled radiantly, her dark eyes shining with endless joy.
Giovanni stepped forward, raising his glass of champagne to address the two hundred elite guests.
“Six months ago,” the old Don announced, his booming voice carrying clearly through the magnificent room, “a young woman walked into this exact dining room. She didn't look at my clothes. She didn't know my name. She simply saw an old man who was cold, and she offered him warmth.”
Giovanni looked at Meline with deep, paternal pride.
“She proved that real power isn't found in fear or wealth,” Giovanni declared, raising his glass higher. “Real power is found in humanity, courage, and love! To my daughter-in-law, Meline—the true Queen of the Moretti family!”
“To Meline!” the entire assembly roared in unison, clinking their glasses together in thunderous celebration!
Alessandro pulled Meline into his broad arms, dipping her back slightly as he captured her lips in a deep, passionate, breathtaking kiss that sent a wave of joy echoing across the entire estate.
The traitorous Vance syndicate had been completely dismantled, Beatrice was working as a dishwasher in a far-off state, and the dark shadows of the past were officially erased forever.
Later that evening, as the stars began to twinkle over the quiet gardens, Alessandro and Meline stood together on the private balcony of the east wing, looking out over their peaceful world.
Alessandro wrapped his broad arms gently around her waist from behind, pulling her soft curves close against his chest, pressing a tender kiss against her neck.
“What are you thinking about, Mrs. Moretti?” Alessandro whispered softly into her ear.
Meline leaned her head back against his shoulder, looking down at the flawless diamond ring shining on her finger.
“I was thinking about the bowl of soup,” Meline murmured with a soft, warm laugh, turning around in his arms to look up into his handsome face. “I thought my life was over when it broke on the floor... but it was actually just the beginning.”
Alessandro smiled deeply, his dark eyes glowing with an eternal, unbroken devotion as he leaned down to kiss her again under the starlight.

“You didn't just save my father that day, Meline,” Alessandro murmured against her lips. “You saved my heart.”
And standing together in the warm summer night, surrounded by absolute protection, warmth, and an everlasting love, the former maid reigned triumphant as the cherished Queen of the Moretti dynasty forever.
