Chapter 19 - AUDREY RETURNS TO EASTBRIDGE
Audrey reapplied at twelve.
Her own recording.
One take.
Not perfect.
A small tempo rush in the final section.
She wanted to redo it.
Her teacher asked:
“Would you play differently tomorrow?”
“Probably.”
“Will you ever stop finding something?”
“No.”
“Then submit.”
She did.
Eastbridge accepted her into a summer program.
Not the prestigious fellowship.
A different track.
Still earned.
Celina cried when she heard.
Then asked Audrey:
“Do you want me at the first concert?”
Audrey said:
May you like
“Yes.”
Progress.
