Chapter 5 - The Queen's Coronation (The End)

Six months later.
The warm autumn sun broke brilliantly over the rolling green hills and crystal waters of Lake Michigan, casting a golden light across the grand outdoor terrace of the Moretti estate.
The sprawling mansion, once filled with cold shadows, fear, and arrogant lies, was now alive with vibrant beauty, warmth, and genuine joy. Thousands of fresh white roses draped from the marble columns, soft orchestral music echoed through the gardens, and the grand courtyard was decorated for a historic celebration.
Over three hundred high-society guests, regional business leaders, political figures, and loyal allies had gathered for the wedding of the century.
Standing at the front of the altar under a canopy of blooming jasmine, wearing an immaculate black tuxedo, stood Luca Moretti.
He looked towering, powerful, and strikingly handsome, his dark gray eyes glowing with a quiet, unshakeable happiness as he stood beside his best man, Marco.
The heavy double glass doors of the mansion swung wide open.
Soft, romantic violin music filled the warm autumn air, and a collective, breathless gasp swept through the entire assembly.
Walking down the long white carpet, wearing a breathtaking, custom-designed silk wedding gown with a sweeping lace train that sparkled under the sunlight, was me.
My dark hair was styled in soft, radiant waves, a delicate diamond tiara resting atop my head. The bruise on my cheek was long gone, replaced by a radiant, blooming beauty that dazzled everyone in attendance. Walking beside me, guiding me down the aisle with tears of genuine pride in her eyes, was my mother—fully recovered, healthy, and thriving thanks to the medical care Luca had provided.
I reached the altar, and Luca stepped forward, taking my hands into his broad, warm, strong grip.
He leaned down slightly, whispering into my ear, “You are the most breathtaking sight in the entire universe, my beautiful Queen.”
“I love you, Luca,” I murmured back with a radiant smile.
The ceremony was breathtaking, filled with solemn vows, deep devotion, and an unshakeable love that had been born out of courage, truth, and mutual respect.
“By the power vested in me,” the judge declared loudly, smiling at the crowd, “I now pronounce you husband and wife! Luca, you may kiss your bride!”
Luca didn't hesitate for a single fraction of a second. He pulled me gently into his broad, powerful arms, dipping me back slightly as he captured my lips in a deep, passionate, breathtaking kiss that sent a wave of thunderous applause and cheers echoing across the entire lake!
Marco raised his champagne glass high into the air, shouting over the roar of the crowd: “To Don Luca and Queen Olivia! Long live the Moretti family!”
“LONG LIVE THE MORETTI FAMILY!” the entire assembly roared in unison, clinking their crystal glasses together in grand celebration!
Later that evening, as the silver stars began to illuminate the quiet waters of the lake, Luca and I stood together on the private master balcony, looking out over the peaceful grounds.
The cool night breeze swept across the balcony, lifting the lace train of my dress.
Luca wrapped his broad arms gently around my waist from behind, pulling me flush against his warm chest, resting his chin softly against my shoulder, pressing a tender kiss against my neck.
“What are you thinking about, Mrs. Moretti?” Luca whispered softly into my ear, his deep voice filling my heart with an overwhelming sense of warmth, security, and peace.
I set my hands over his on my waist, looking down at the magnificent, flawless diamond ring gleaming brightly on my finger under the starlight.
“I was thinking about the engagement dinner,” I murmured with a soft, warm laugh, turning around in his arms to look up into his handsome face. “The night you asked me if I was going to lose my job for telling the truth... I was so terrified.”
Luca smiled deeply, his dark gray eyes glowing with an eternal, unbroken devotion as he pulled me closer against his beating heart.
“You didn't lose your job, Olivia,” Luca whispered against my lips, framing my face in his broad, warm hands. “You saved my life, my empire, and my soul. And you took your rightful place... as the true ruler of my heart forever.”

He leaned down and captured my lips in a slow, sweet, breathtaking kiss under the starlight, binding our hearts together for all eternity.
And standing high above the lake, wrapped in the arms of the most powerful man in Chicago, the former maid reigned triumphant—not as a servant, but as the cherished, undisputed Queen of the Moretti dynasty forever.
