Marcus handed Claire a small black folder. "This contains the full release of all debts associated with your family's name. The state has already frozen Julian’s liquid assets, and a restitution fund is being established. You and your mother will be fully compensated."

Claire looked out at the city lights twinkling in the evening sky. "I'm going home to Maine. My mother is waiting."
"The hotel car is waiting downstairs to take you to the airport," Marcus said. "And Claire... if you ever decide you want to return to London, there's a position waiting for you in executive operations. Not in housekeeping."
