Chapter 5 - The Queen of the Moretti Family (The End)

Six months later.
The spring sun shone brilliantly over the rolling green hills and crystal waters of Lake Michigan, casting a golden light across the grand courtyard of the Moretti estate.
The estate was magnificent, decorated with thousands of fresh white roses, silk drapes, and glowing crystal chandeliers. Over three hundred high-society guests, international businessmen, and honorable community leaders had gathered for the wedding of the decade.
Standing at the front of the altar, wearing an immaculate black tuxedo, stood Luca Moretti. He looked happier, healthier, and more radiant than anyone had ever seen him, his eyes glued to the center aisle.
Beside him stood his best man and younger brother, Michael, who was now the fully restored, proud co-owner of the newly rebuilt, magnificent Moretti Trattoria.
The grand doors opened, and soft violin music filled the air.
A collective gasp swept through the crowd.
I walked down the white aisle, wearing a breathtaking, custom lace wedding gown with a long flowing train, holding a bouquet of white peonies. My hair was styled in soft, elegant waves, my skin glowing with absolute health and happiness. Beside me, walking me down the aisle with tears of pride in her eyes, was my mother—completely cured and healthy thanks to the top-tier medical care Luca had provided.
Luca watched me walk toward him, tears glistening in his dark, handsome eyes.
When I reached the altar, Luca took my hand in his firm, warm grip, leaning down to whisper softly, “You take my breath away, my beautiful Queen.”
“I love you, Don Luca,” I smiled radiantly.
The ceremony was breathtaking, filled with genuine love, sacred vows, and pure joy.
“I now pronounce you husband and wife,” the officiant announced loudly. “You may kiss the bride!”
Luca pulled me into his broad arms and dipped me back slightly, capturing my lips in a deep, passionate, breathtaking kiss that sent a wave of thunderous applause and cheers echoing across the entire estate!
During the grand reception that evening, my mother, Michael, and Carlo Vitale raised their glasses high in a heartwarming toast to our future.
Marco Bellini and Vanessa had been sentenced to twenty years in a federal maximum-security prison for arson, attempted kidnapping, and corporate racketeering—their dark, greedy empire permanently wiped from memory.
Meanwhile, under my guidance as the new Director of the Moretti Charitable Foundation, Luca had completely transitioned his family's business into legitimate, world-class international logistics, community housing, and educational scholarships for underprivileged young women.
As the sun began to set over the lake, casting a golden hue over the dancing crowd, Luca guided me out onto the private balcony overlooking the water.
He wrapped his broad arms gently around my waist from behind, resting his chin softly on my shoulder as we watched the shimmering waves.
“What are you thinking about, Mrs. Moretti?” Luca whispered softly into my ear, his deep voice filling me with an overwhelming sense of warmth and security.
I set my hand over his on my waist, looking down at the magnificent diamond ring gleaming on my finger.
“I was thinking about the night I spilled wine on the tablecloth,” I murmured with a soft laugh, turning around in his arms to look up into his handsome face. “I thought my life was completely over... but it was actually just beginning.”
Luca smiled warmly, his dark eyes glowing with an intense, everlasting devotion as he pulled me close against his heart.

“You didn't just save my brother that night, Emily,” Luca murmured softly, leaning down to capture my lips in a tender kiss. “You saved my entire world.”
Outside on the quiet balcony, the spring stars began to twinkle brightly over Chicago, illuminating a new legacy built on truth, courage, and an unbreakable, everlasting love that would reign forever.
