Teresa had not ordered Adrian to hit me.

But no evidence showed she knew Adrian would become violent.
Her consequences were mostly personal and governance-related.
The Vellaro board removed her from informal participation in financing discussions because she held no official role anyway.
Family counsel told her to stop contacting Dad about leases.
He blocked her number for six months.
She called that childish.
He called it efficient.
Teresa continued seeing her grandchildren through whatever arrangements family court ultimately allowed.
