Owen kept a note on his phone.
Not because he was criminally organized.
Because he organized everything.

Created six weeks before the wedding after Daniel’s final boundary.
At first it looked like sibling support.
Medication? Vanessa had none.
Therapist appointment Tuesday.
No alcohol before rehearsal.
Build 20-minute quiet buffer before ceremony.

Owen handles family conflict.
Perfectly reasonable.
Then new entries after each incident.
After florist:
Do not tell Daniel unless injury/complaint.
After frame:
Daniel saw. De-escalate.
After garment rack:
Pay replacement. Keep junior stylist away from direct V contact.
Then Cecily.
FIT:
V put hands on C.
C fell.
Wrist injury.
Daniel cannot know before wedding.
Need neutral version: stepped backward during argument.
Cecily may claim push.
Attorney handling.
Bianca knows too much.
I felt physically ill when I read the final line.

The central secret was not that Owen intended to hide his sister’s violence forever.
That almost made it worse.
He had created a deadline for honesty.
Once Vanessa married Daniel, truth could happen.

Owen believed marriage would make Daniel less likely to leave immediately.
A ceremony as emotional lock.
Not legal entrapment.
Not financial strategy.
A relationship tactic.

He was actually helping her obtain a marriage under a false version of her recent behavior.

At 6:17, she shoved me into the fountain.
She did not make it two hours.

Owen had known she had physically caused Cecily’s fall.
He had helped create the accidental version.
