No magical claim that hidden anger erased a valid marriage.
He filed for divorce.
Two weeks after the wedding.
The marriage lasted fourteen days legally before filing.
Longer before final judgment.

He agreed to one mediated conversation.
No reconciliation.
She said:
“I was going to tell you.”
“When?”
“After we came home from the honeymoon.”
“Why then?”
“Because you’d hear me.”
Daniel answered:
“I heard you before the wedding.”
Silence.
He meant his boundary.
No more physical aggression.
She had heard the words.
Then made truth conditional on vows.
Their prenup controlled property.
No punishment clauses giving Daniel everything.
Wedding gifts handled under ordinary law and donor intent.
Some returned.
Some divided.
Some charities received duplicates.
The dress remained Vanessa’s.
Stained.
Cleaned professionally later.
